Fat-free frying? Now it is possible with the air fryer, the new generation appliance that allows you to fry foods that are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside without the use of oil. Reaching high temperatures without the discomfort typical of traditional frying, such as the calories and bad smells of cooked oil, the air frying process is ideal for cooking exceptional pancakes, meatballs and fried potatoes. In traditional frying, oil is the conductive substance of heat while in the case of this new appliance the conductor is the air itself. After placing the food in the basket inside the cooking chamber, the hot air begins to circulate around the food evenly, thus ensuring perfect cooking. During cooking, the air can reach 200 ° C, thus transferring a crunchy and cooking effect similar to that which occurs in frying in a lighter and healthier way.
In addition to producing impeccably fried food, the process is much faster than traditional frying and at the same time does not overheat the house like the oven.
The hot air fryer, contrary to popular belief, can really cook everything from classic French fries to breaded mozzarella with battered zucchini flowers to pizza. The innovative technology of this new appliance makes it possible to complete light frying cooking with grilling and roasting in a quick and light way. The strong similarity to a convection oven makes the appliance suitable for cooking sweets and cakes such as muffins and biscuits.
We offer many ideas for healthy and quick delicious recipes suitable for cooking with this modern appliance.
